were sick

The past two weeks have been one sick person after another we have all had strep throat thanks Nana! The latest is Thomas poor thing he cries mam ma owie owie and is so cuddly i wish he felt better but i love holding him. We have watched a lot of TV. So during this two weeks of being confined we have had all kinds of excitement first Bobby is a sneaky thing I have found him under the table hiding with a pint of choc Hagen das chowing down. Then the next day a vanilla pint in the guest room behind the bed (while I am putting Thomas down for his nap) so i come around the bed to see what kind of ice cream damage has been done and find he is like a dog and made a little home there. A nasty home but none the less he is set up he has his ice cream, cough drops, a sippy cup, some toy cars, mam ma jammie's, and has taken a bathroom break 1& 2 right there on the new carpet! Mam ma was crazy mad no food allowed outside of the kitchen to begin with and this!!!!!!! Holy crap! so I go to the bathroom to get some rags and water i peek in on Henry who is up on the top bunk writing his name on the ceiling in black ink! not my most shining mam ma moment but I have to say I held it together and made the punishment fit the crime. Henry spent an hr scrubbing the ink and bobby had to scoop poop and stomp up the pee then scrub up the soapy water. (i had to steam clean it later when he wasn't looking)
So we were feeling better for a couple days and Samuel came for a visit and guess what. He had to pee really bad and thought the air vent looked like a great spot. Seriously !?!?!?!? what the heck is up with these kids they all know where the 5 toilets are in the house why can't they find one?
So the next day they come upstairs from hanging with daddy in his office and say mam ma we are pirates! Really why? see mama we cut our pants like a pirate! They had shredded their shorts from the bottom up!
And today the big guys are feeling better but T is still down so I'm holding him while they make pump it up in the living room with couch cushions and a "pillow" breaks a pane of glass ya right!
So on to some of the cute things that keep me loving them!
Daddy brought home grocery's last night thank you he got some salami which Ive never bought and Henry is super excited he LOVES it BC its a little bit spicy and papa likes it! I couldn't believe he knew what it was much less what it was called. When a daddy long legs was near Henry said mama come look its a tarantula! Whenever you ask henry about something in the past whether it was this morning or a year ago he will tell you it was yesterday remember mamma we did that yesterday!
Bobby says Mam ma I don't love it. whenever you ask him to eat, do, or try something he doesn't like. He also says but you Always..., Bobby's prayer each night is thank you God for dinner and for everybody plays with me AW MAN!
And a favorite is bobby hold your horses "but mam ma I don't have any horses!"
Thomas is starting to talk like crazy every day its a new word today was Tattoo! since Henry has learned how to apply them himself and Nanny has supplied him with what should be a lifetime of tattoos all three boys have been walking around sporting no less than 40 tattoos apiece! Thomas has also learned to say Funny it is the sweetest thing i have ever heard he loves to kiss me and say mamamamamamam while were kissing to make a funny noise then laughs and says funnnnnny while he's laughing. Its my favorite thing each day.

The beach

So for weeks we've been hearing " when are we going to the beach" and now were finally here! We are in Captivia Island Florida and staying at the South Seas Resort and were with our dear friends Linda,Jenna Kaufman and Alexis Wolf. The boys have never had so much attention and thomas has decided that Jenna is his, he wants no one but her and I think he is laughing at alexis every time he runs from her to Jenna.
Tonight we went to watch the sunset and take bare bottom pictures on the beach when henry spotted two dolphins right near the beach no further than we had been playing this aftenoon. They were so excited they were jumping and screaming and running in the water butt-naked I can't wait to see the pictures of them. What an amazing trip we are truly spoiled by our friends.

At bath time tonight you were all wrapped up in the towel and said a bunch of gibberish but in a deep baby growl we all started laughing so hard we couldn't stop and you were loving it! As soon as you could stop laughing you would do it again over and over till you went to bed.

Mothers Day 2009

So its mothers day and just as requested a vanilla latte brought to me by my favorite man, daddy. Big brownie points to a man that can run to Starbucks and get beautiful roses before I've even left the bedroom. I got to spend the day just as I wanted, a great service at church, brunch in our wonderful new kitchen with Bill, my boys and Ben. Then off to get a manicure pedicure and a bit of shopping. We dropped off flowers for Jenna and Ninna where Bobby spilled the beans that they got me a big present in a box. Can't wait to get home!
It was the coffee mugs I really wanted and a nice dress I had picked out on our Friday night date. Then what could be better than a night a the movies with Beth and Carmen seeing Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
